Tesla, Inc. To Recall Hundreds of Model 3 of Vehicles

It has been determined that there are problems in the front hood and body of some of Tesla's vehicles that may increase the risk of accidents. The US company will withdraw approximately 200,000 vehicles from the market.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently said that the rearview cameras installed on some Tesla models malfunctioned, increasing the risk of accidents, and therefore recalled 475,000 vehicles on the market.

The current problem is in China. The investigations by China's State Administration of Market Regulatory (SAMR) concluded that hood attachment points may cause some problems in some Tesla vehicles.

China stated that the detected problems may cause the hoods to open suddenly while driving in vehicles and cause the rear cameras to block the viewing angles.

Work has already started to solve the problems noticed in Model S and Model 3 vehicles.

200 THOUSAND TESLA VEHICLES WILL BE RETURNED

The company, which has withdrawn 475 thousand vehicles in the past few days, will now recall approximately 200 thousand vehicles due to the problem we mentioned above.

In line with the decision made, Tesla was produced between 2015 and 2020; approximately 180 thousand Model 3 and approximately 20 thousand Model S vehicles, whose defects were detected, will be collected.
