Dear New Mum, There Are Very Healthy Ways to Watch and Maintain Your Weight During and After Pregnancy.

Dear new Mums,

I need to share my experience with you.

When I was pregnant for my first baby, I tried to inculcate some healthy routines to check my weight but our mothers said pregnant women don't watch their weight. The health of the baby is more important than my weight and I should always remember I am now double, so I should eat for two. I took their counsel to heart until I hit over 100kg in my pregnancy.

When I finally put to bed, I wanted to start out some mild exercise to start my weight loss journey as I was a 100kg at the time but our mothers said nursing mums should not work out as that could be injurious to the baby's health. That once I am done breastfeeding, I will naturally drop to my normal weight but nevertheless, I still did my workout. Mind you, I was about 77kg when I took in.
When I finally stopped breastfeeding, our mothers said I should start planning for my next baby, I will lose all the weight at once when I'm done with childbearing.... hmmm.

My main gist is that it's been about 4 months I stopped breastfeeding and my normal weight, I have not seen. It even seems like I keep adding a little and coming down since I stopped. I thought it was going to be automatic.
Why did I even believe them, our mothers were still on the big side when they gave me this advice that never worked for them. Trust me, it worked for some not us with a natural tendency for bigness ðŸ˜‚.

Dear new mum, there are very healthy ways to watch and maintain your weight during and after pregnancy.
Don't eat for two, your baby requires just a very little addition to your normal portion but keep your options healthy.
I am saying this now because my body is doing me to give Grace younger siblings but I am still waiting for my post breastfeeding automatic weight loss to start.
Ngwa bye
