Michael Jackson's biopic was released over the weekend.

The Michael Jackson biopic has opened to $217.4M worldwide, the biggest debut ever for a biopic.

Fans showed up in force, showing that his legacy still moves the culture and he is the biggest to ever do this.

But the next of kin that he left are the new enduring and biggest beneficiaries of this biopic.

Before he died, Michael Jackson had three kids and he left debt for them.

After his untimely death, it's believed that 40% of Jackson's estate went to his mother Katherine, while 20% went to charity, and the remaining 40% was split among his three children – Prince, Paris, and Bigi.

Those three kids are swimming in money that kids of their generation can only dream about.

Before he died, the estate was heavily in debt, but not anymore, and this is why:

The Michael Jackson estate, managed by John Branca and John McClain, has generated over $3.5 billion since his 2009 passing.

The estate has successfully turned a $450 million debt left behind by Micheal Jackson into a multi-billion dollar empire.

In 2024, Sony paid $600 million for half of the estate's masters and publishing rights, which is part of a larger valuation totaling roughly $1.2 billion for his catalog.

Last year, the estate earned an estimated $105 million, retaining its position as the top-earning deceased celebrity, driven by his music catalog, the Michael Jackson ONE Las Vegas show, and the MJ: The Musical Broadway show.

Before the biopic was released last weekend, the Michael Jackson estate was paid $10 million in upfront fees for licensing and co-producing.

The estate is also positioned to earn over $40 million in profits from the 2026 biopic Michael. Michael Jackson's kids are so wealthy that if they decide to sleep and travel around the world for the rest of their lives, they will still be multimillionaires and will never go broke because their father’s estate keep making money for them even when they are sleeping or having sex.

One of them, Prince, is worth $150 million, showing the scale of the vast wealth under their control.

A textbook example of what the Bible makes clear in the scripture : a good man leaves an inheritance for his kids.

Michael Jackson is the biggest ever to do this, and the recent success of his biopic is a reminder that no other person comes close to him in terms of influence and popularity, except Coca-Cola and Jesus Christ.
