If you care for your mind, if you nurture it and if you cultivate just like a fertile rich garden, it’ll Blossom far beyond your expectations. But if you let the weeds take root, lasting peace of mind and deep inner harmony will always elude you.
To live life to the fullest, you must stand guard at the gate of your garden and let only the very best information enter..An average day,the average person runs about six thousand thoughts through his mind. Regrettably, ninety five percent of those thoughts are the same as the ones you the hought the day before. What a tyranny of impoverished thinking.. Those people who think the same thought everyday, most of them negative, have fallen into bad mental habits. Rather than focusing on all the good in their lives and thinking of ways to make even better, they are captives of the past. Some of them worry about failed relationships or financial problems.
Mental mastery comes through conditioning. The subconscious lacks critical and intellectual capacity. According to Joseph Murphy,” Whatever thought you anchor the mind upon, the later magnifies”. The kingdom of happiness is in your thoughts and feeling. You can’t be hurt by criticisms when you’re the master of your thought. In facts, Great people construct monuments with the stones their critics throw at them. Thoughts fused with feeling becomes a subjective faith.
Going down the lane of memory,I realized that the sterile world I had grown accustomed to has dulled my creativity and limited my vision. The moment I knew that my thoughts create my future,I exuded a wonderful sense of calm by planting a positive seeds in the garden of my mind.
According to the words of Stephen Covey, he said that “what happened to you is not what hurts you but your response to it is what hurts you”. We’ve all the power to determine what we think about in any given moment.
There’s no such thing as objective reality, there are no absolute. The face of your greatest enemy might be the face of my finest friend. An event that appears to be a tragedy to one might reveal the seeds of unlimited opportunity to another. What really separates people who are habitually upbeat and optimistic from those who are consistently miserable is how the circumstances of life are interpreted and processed. Your outer world reflects the state of your inner world. You cant separate your identity from your perspective. By controlling the thought that you think and the way you respond to the events of your life, you begin to control your destiny.
Even the ancient Chinese knew there’s a bright side to the darkest circumstance if you’ve the courage to look for it. There’s no mistakes in life, only lessons. There’s no such thing as negative experience, only opportunities to grow, learn and advance along the road of self-mastery. From struggle comes strength. Even pain can be a wonderful teacher. To transcend pain, you must first experience it. To savor the good one must know the bad.
The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master. If you have become a negative thinker, this is because you have not cared for your mind and taken the time to train it to focus on the good. Winston Churchill said that “The price of greatness is responsibility over each of your thoughts”. The mind truly is like any other muscle in your body. Use it or lose it. Persistence is the mother of personal change.
Don’t allow the little you strangle the big you within. Every thought is a cause and every condition is the effect. Your thought is true, your reality.
