The Student Union Government in most universities and other tertiary institutions in the country is presently breeding an unbridled and very dangerous amount of thieves and rogues. These are youths who might graduate and come to suffocate our national space in the near future as "Comrades and Honourables"
The fact that some lecturers, under whose watch they are forged in character and learning, aid this compromised lot, by remaining corruptedly silent in spite of obvious
evidence of embezzlement of funds meant for the students, and gross abuse of abusive of office, is not only disheartening but utterly disgraceful.
You can't possibly be accusing the Federal government of corruption and misgovernance, meanwhile, students right under your very own nose are fleecing fellow students in the name being student Union officials. Shame!
The level of corruption in most Student Union Government is something we need take into circumspection. If this rising trend is left unchecked, I'm scared we may have more Babachirs and Mainas to contend with in the future.
Truth will some day emerge victorious. We will be alright in the end.
