You run an online business and every time you want to market your product, you go on to write "please patronize me I don't want to die of hunger or go back to my village, just give me a chance I will deliver and you won't regret it".

Then after that, it seems no one is buying. You pick up your phone and write " Chei all of you that are viewing my status don't want to buy from me 😭, no wahala I know people who dey for me.

Gradually frustration sets in, you start hating on your friends who are not patronizing you. ”You fail to understand reasons you started the business” and attributes it to the individual on your contact list; 

You feel terrible about your business and conclude that nobody loves you and don't want to see you  succeed 🀦‍♀️

Then you forget that there is a system to everything, business not excluded, you don't just wake up from sleep one day and the idea of selling cloth comes to mind and boom you have started a business. 
There are no business plans, no marketing strategy, no content marketing, no digital advertising, no branding, etc and you're out on the street to compete with brands who have established trust and consistency doing well in what you're about to start.

Check the likes of coca-cola, (and other brands you can think of that has been there for decades and a fortune 500 list) 
Watch closely how systematically they present themselves appealing to you with great value and most times entertaining your curiosity they never come from the point of begging people to buy from them just like you do. They follow the system, (They reach out to you and try to be a companion in most moments and you purchase happily).

Their strategy is to be present almost all the time, in case you want to make a choice you have them as the first option.

Some of you are even selling to the wrong audience. Not all your friends are your ideal customers, the earlier you understand this, the better for you.
Buying and selling are emotionally appealing and not a ”Pity Game” come off that thinking and be happy with your friends not buying from you.

Who are my products/services meant for?

Where can I find them? 

What Social Media platform can I find them?
(Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp, etc.)

What is their purchasing power?

How can I get my products/services across to them?

Once you answer 1/4 of these questions then you are already on your feet to take advantage.
