Never take your mental health for granted, You see a labile mood is not unique to mental illness. The same occurred to me a few days ago Just when I thought everything was ducky, some awful adventure occurred.

With the vibes from the tune to entertain oneself from my earphones while doing home chores,  at a point, I got tired of holding my set then decided to place it on the table while on my duty, not just long, a call came through vibrating my phone, only before I could reach my phone it flounder on the floor and the screen sharded.

I burst into tears, I shed tears that I felt sob having in mind the situation the world is facing and the whole lockdown, knowing that my dear phone is my office and library where I have all my major document for easy access and tools I use to connect in giving and gaining value.
I lose my appetite and was unhappy all day.
This affected my mental health and changed my mood...

                                                                        ***

Many have experienced greater pain some time ago, we lose our cool because of unpleasant occurrence and out of weakness we don't fight it not knowing that our health is in danger because of our emotions.

I'd like to share with you how bad emotions harm our body πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

1. ANGER 😠:
Anger weakens the liver: The emotions of anger is associated with the choleric humor and can cause resentment and irritability. It is believed that this emotion is stored in the liver and gall bladder which contain bile. Anger can cause hypertension and headache which in turn affect the stomach and the spleen.

2. GRIEF > DEPRESSION:
Grief is the emotion of the lungs and the large intestine, organs associated with the metal element. Loss of any kind will often trigger a cold, a feeling of being energetically drained, and difficult bowel function. Grief can stay with us for a while and can go unresolved until we decide to release it. When grief is unresolved and becomes chronic, depression and an inability to ‘let go’ of things can arise from this lung Qi Deficiency. This could eventually interfere with lung function and oxygen circulation. Since our lungs control the flow of energy in our bodies, it’s important that we give ourselves space to deal with painful events rather than stifling them.

Dietary management is :
"Reduce eggs, dairy, rich, processed or fatty foods that cause congestion."

3. FEAR :
Fear is the emotion of the kidneys and the bladder, organs associated with the water element. It is a normal adaptive emotion but can become chronic when we ignore it. Kidney issues often arise when we are dealing with fear, such as a change in life direction or unstable living conditions.

Dietary management for this is :
"Reduce cheese, salt, heavy meat consumption, sugars, excessively cooling foods."

4. WORRY > NERVOUSNESS:
This is the emotion of the spleen and stomach, too much pensiveness, worrying and insecurity can weaken our ability to digest. When we are anxious, we find it difficult to digest and accept a situation or life event. This can make us feel tired, lethargic and unable to concentrate. A bit of a paradox, too much mental stimulation can actually cause mental heaviness.
A week spleen can also be the cause of stubborn weight problems.

Dietary management is :
"Reduce meats, cold, raw and all Frozen foods, Iced drinks, excess refined sugars."

Going forward I believe you will go ahead to adhere to your mood and take control of them to always be at your best for your healthy mental being.

"Always have it as a priority feed well, finding it difficult?  Consult your nutritionist and dietician."
